About Us

We're Hartman Landscaping & Lawncare, and we've been a local landscaping and lawn care service company serving, Athens, Springfield, Chatham, Sherman, Williamsville and surrounding areas since 2011. Shawn & Angie Hartman started this business as a husband & wife team and now have grown to over 10 employees! We believe in personal touch and emphasis on treating your lawn like our own, offering landscaping, hardscapes, and lawn care. We started this business because we saw a need in the community for a personalized touch for landscaping. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve the surrounding communities. Overall my wife and I would rate Hartman Landscaping and Lawncare as Excellent and definitely recommend them for your landscaping project. Earlier this year, Shawn and Angie met with my wife and I on a project at our home. We have a fairly steep and curved driveway leaving one side with a steep slope which needed to be reinforced. They provided us with recommendations for materials then we met again later to finalize the project. They communicated very well with us throughout the project and accommodated several requests for additional work and expansion of the original scope. Along the way they provided recommendations we had not originally considered and each one made the end result that much better. They provided a clear estimate of what the project would cost and how any changes we made would affect the end cost of things. There were no surprises and their costs were very reasonable. The result was beyond what we could have hoped for. Each day when they would arrive I would go out to meet everyone and we would discuss how things were going. In just a few short weeks they literally transformed our property and we are so very happy with the results. A big thanks to Shawn, Angie and all the folks at Hartman Landscaping!

Aside from lawncare these are great people. A week ago I was stuck trying to offload my dead car from a car trailer near where they were doing some yard work. .I was overmatched. Shawn, Angie, and their crew were here at our house for over a week, in horrible heat and humidity conditions, and managed to pull off something truly amazing. We asked them to install a brick patio, replace our edging around our flower beds, and help with drainage around the house. Each time I show off their work I keep hearing the word, “WOW”. Don’t think you can do much better than that. The edging looks wonderful and the brick patio is absolutely gorgeous. They were easy to work with, very friendly and professional, and were always willing to listen to what we wanted and to explain their process to us.
